Black Eyed Angel: Chapter 7 Chapter Seven:  Edward

I could not get out of the living room fast enough.  Jasper felt it immediately, but his thoughts were just laughter as I fled the room.  Emmett was still shouting thoughts at me from downstairs.

Nice Edward! Jazz says she is totally into you. I am soooooooooooo sorry about breaking up your little piano lesson.  Maybe we should move the piano into your bedroom before the next class?

I fear that I may not soon hear the end of this.   Jasper has no doubt sensed my arousal down there.  Bella being so close to me brought on an unexpected effect on my body.  She smelled so good.  I wanted to lean in and lick her neck.

Black Eyed Angel: Chapter 6 Chapter Six- Bella:

"Training?" I asked

"You have to start learning how to control your thirst.  We just have to find a way to do it safely." Jasper replied.

"Can't you just come with me and calm me down if I can't keep it together?" I asked.

"I could, but I can't always be with you.  You have to learn to do it without me.  And besides, I don't just spread emotions around; I can also feel what you feel. The last thing we need is for you to push me over the edge.  We'll probably have Emmett or Edward go with you.  They're they strongest. They would be able to stop you from doing anything...
A blue sky awaits A few more steps, a fleeting sadness.  A blessed quietness on a day when then sky is untouched by the clouds.

A washing of hands by a heart that can not see beyond the blink of an eye.  The sand in between my toes feels better than an unopened box of crayons. They surpass felt tipped pens at times.  Maybe at more playful moments in this life.

Sometimes I think the waves speak my language.  Calm, but temperamental.  Controlled by the moon, yet uncontrollable.

Like a goddess on fire, I step carelessly to the edge of the ocean and breathe deeply.  Our spirits have intertwined into a tremendous unseen dance.

It had been one month since the Cullen's had found me and taken me in.  I was beginning to see a whole new side of life.  Carlisle had his work at the hospital to keep him busy and playing his role as a father.  Emmett, Rose, Alice, Jasper and Edward had enrolled in high school to keep up appearances.  They were all changed when they were in there late teens years, looking as though they could be old enough for college, but they could pass for Seniors, maybe Juniors.  In order to maintain a permanent residence here they had to act as human as possible, which is a bit harder than it sounds.  They are all well practiced an

I sulked in frustration. The rest of the family had gone out to hunt, and to show Bella around. I decided to stay home and take out my irritation on my piano.  I had been sitting aside the ivory keys for a good twenty minutes without playing a note.  My mind was elsewhere.  Why couldn't I hear her?  Or could I?  Was she blocking me?  This had never happened to me before,  I could hear everyone, every thought.  But I did hear her name in the forest.  Perhaps it was the close proximity...?  Maybe I should try and get close to her again, just close enough to see what is behind those haunting eyes.

A tranquility came over me, slipping into my fingers and washing over my body and mind.  I shook my head and focused on this golden eyed couple in front of me. Carlisle Cullen had spent his existence as an outcast of sorts. In the world of vampires, he possessed an unheard of restraint. He did not prey on humans. He held a respect for human life.

"We consider ourselves to be vegetarians if you will. The animal blood is what causes our eyes to turn this golden hue, rather than the crimson you are used to."

He took my hand and spoke softly. He looked deep into my eyes. "How long has it been?"

"I haven't quite been keep

I actually looked through your gallery a bit, but this piece on your front page really caught my eye. I'm not 100% up on photography, but I love the composition and lighting quality of this work. The mason jar has a somewhat opaque quality to it, which adds to the effect of the lights 'coming out' of it. If I could personally adjust one thing, it would be to bring the perspective a little lower so you couldn't see the back rim of the jar. I think that would add to the overall illusion that this creates.

Still though, I really like the overall quality of this piece, I've seen a fair few examples of this done before, but this one definitely sticks out. Also as a side note, I like the reflections of the outside of the jar, I think it gives this a little something extra.
