Sixteen syllables in one line...I think it's going to be fun.
A challenge indeed, I will try, but will I end it with a pun?
Exclamation points everywhere, makes grammar nazis want to run,
All in first person point of view, side step cliche and over done.
I write for myself- I fear no literary persecution,
Imagination is unleashed, I accept no substitution,
All of the poems, thirty-one, a December revolution,
Learning something new, poetry, my personal evolution.

LOL.
I have found it so much easier to wait for feedback after I accepted / realized that I, like you, write for myself.
