Interesting. Surely, you understand the male mind. There are two sides of it: a gentleman and an animal. I can see you have thoroughly created a creative example. However, whether human or not, all males think alike. The desire for a mate and have the fight to kill any competition. Example: "I warned him not to touch what was mine." I admire how you set this way of thinking in this man's point of view and how it changes and progresses through the story. Obviously, this girl is helping him be a better person, but also bringing out the animal within him, as well. You've also represented another aspect in the mind of the male species; even though not all are like it, but some guys like to move from one girl to the next. I love that this man has a change of heart from meeting his "special someone".
Jealousy and love are certainly emotions this character hasn't experienced before in his life, making this all the more entertaining. This character is a vampire from what I can guess; he was quite drawn to her in bloodthirsty way, at first. Wonderful writing style and descriptions. I'm quite impressed. It's dark and seductive, which is very popular in this day in age. I was very captivated when reading it. Amazing work! Good luck!
