home is where you are

Ours was a new world, one mostly unexplored and it was thrilling to be one of its first human inhabitants. There was dense jungle, tangles of trees growing unchecked, vines running rampant and intertwining, growing in delicate spires up passed the treetops. The water was clean and abundant, we knew then we could live here, thrive here.
