I like to go searching for inspirations in lots of places.  I wanted to get outside and start taking more pictures, and I wanted to do so with music as my inspiration.


I asked you to give me a song; any song, any genre,

Locust FlowersLocust trees in bloom
Air pungent with sweet nectar
Beauty through the thorns GalvanizedAbandon
all hope in this blight
causing nothing but
destruction.
Emotions
stir inside from fear,
giving him steadfast hold
on my heart.
Injuries
from could-have-beens just
keep on festering
for so long.
Many times,
I wake from nightmares,
only to find no
hope of peace.
Questions plague
my mind, ravaging
sanity to the
point of tears.
Under spell
of such a villain
who converted love
to xylene.
Yesteryears
coat my heart with zinc.
