wind caressing my face,
tangling my hair,
cooling me down
on this hot summer day
watermelon juice
running down my chin,
spitting seeds
hoping that they grow anew
my daughter's smile
when she splashes me in the pool,
her screeching laugh
when I chase her
it's the simple things
that make me sigh with contentment,
it's the little things
that bring tremendous joy

the universe
feels heavy
inside my
head.
stars scattered
across my skin,
like freckles,
strung together -
constellations
on my fingertips.
my eyes eclipse
and i sense
distant galaxies
strewn across
the darkness.
the longing grows.
i breathe in
starlight,
breathe out
nebulas.
my thoughts,
comets:
multitudes,
in quick
succession,
and full
of light.
let me be
the astronaut;
let me be
iridescent.

1. Why are you on DA. What brought you here?
1) I am on DeviantArt because I want to share my thoughts and opinions with people. Well, my thoughts and opinions on games and animation to be more precise. I would also like to make up stories and art and show them to people.
For years, I kept things to myself because I feared that anyone would think that anything I make is lame or stupid. But now, I feel confident in doing those things.
2. What are your plans (if any) with your art?
2) I simply plan to share my art for fun and feedback. I don't think I'll be doing any commissions anytime soon.
